Test call application

The test call application lets you check a whole configuration, from authentication and rating to routing and CDRs, without sending a call to a real vendor. The call terminates on the switch, which reads the dialled number and the caller ID back to you.

  1. A test connection rewrites the dialled number to ssptest followed by the number.
  2. The routing group sends the call to that connection like to any vendor.
  3. The application answers and pronounces the numeric parts of the CLD and the CLI it received.
  4. After the call both CDRs exist: the customer CDR with your price and the vendor CDR on the test connection.
  1. Add a vendor, for example Test, and a Connection with Destination set to the IVR service of the switch.
  2. Set the connection’s CLD Translation Rule to s/^/ssptest/.
  3. Add the connection with a termination route for the test prefixes to the routing group of a test account.
  4. Call through the test account.
