Play Balance application
The Play Balance application answers a number your users call to hear their balance, or how long they can talk to a destination. It identifies the caller by the number they call from, so registered devices hear their balance without entering anything.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- The call reaches the application through a DID assigned to it, or a connection with the keyword
balance. - The caller is identified by the calling number only. Trusted numbers of calling cards are not used.
- The application announces the balance, or the maximum duration to the destination given in Play Duration For CLD or
cld<number>, and hangs up.
Set it up
Section titled “Set it up”- Open DIDs & IVR Apps → IVR Applications, click Add New, enter Name and select Type Play Balance.
- Click Save and add options under Advanced Parameters if needed.
- Assign the balance access number’s DID to the application.
